This year 26 concerts are scheduled at the 27th annual Cashiers-Highlands Chamber Music Festival, so be sure to enjoy one of these scheduled events.
The Brevard Music Center is a Summer music program for talented young musicians aged 14 and older. Students participate in Orchestra, and other large ensembles and play classical and contemporary pieces. Each summer season the center hosts the Brevard Music Festival where students showcase their talents and play a series of concerts that everyone enjoys year after year. In fact, this season the Brevard Music Center is kicking off their opening event with a performance of the music center's orchestra lead by Keith Lockhart, featuring renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma.
