Turn right onto N.C. 107 and get ready for a tough, grueling mountain biking experience! Cashiers North Carolina is full of not only breathtakingly beautiful scenery, but also hairpin curves and never-ending hill climbs. Panthertown Valley is a great area in Cashiers North Carolina where mountain biking is allowed year round. Explore the 6,700 acres of great mountain valley trails that follow over beautiful mountain streams and lead to spectacular waterfalls. There is a great 4.6 mile trail that begins near the entrance of Panthertown. This is a great NC mountain biking trail as it is mostly level and great for bikers of any skill level. The Canaan Loop Trail is another Panthertown Valley mountain biking trail, however this one is a bit more technical and longer at 7.5 miles. Located near the eastern end of Panthertown Valley is the Canaan Loop trail that takes riders through the valley's large granite dome area and through numerous hill climbs. Please respect the delicacy of the vegetation and stay on the main trails. To get to the Panthertown Valley mountain biking trails take U.S. 64 at the intersection of N.C. 107 and U.S. 64 in Cashiers and drive east towards Brevard. Approximately two miles from the intersection turn left on Cedar Creek Road and continue to 2.3 miles, turn right on Breedlove Road and continue for 4 miles (be careful, some parts of this road can be a bit rough!) and you'll come to the Panthertown Valley entrance.

The Devil's Courthouse is another Cashiers Mountain biking trail, however it is very short at less than a mile roundtrip. Paved, but steep, the Devil's Courthouse trail leads to a nice, never-ending, panoramic view of the Blue Ridge and is just off Whiteside Cove Road.
